PetSafe “Bark Control” – Indoor Bark Control
Anti-bark control for dogs: two stationary devices for preventing dogs barking inside the house.
The PetSafe “Bark Control” anti-barking device emits a 2-second ultrasound tone when the inbuilt microphone detects prolonged barking. (It can also be triggered manually.) This high-pitched noise frightens the dog and stops him barking. Suitable for any indoor areas where barking is a problem.
An editorial contribution about indoor bark control:
Many critics have made comments on the topic of dog training using technical resources. Using a bark control collar or electric shock device on a dog is not the right way.
There is a strange discrepancy in this criticism. An electric fence for protecting sheep, cows and horses in paddocks is normal and completely acceptable even to these critics.
Arguments between tenant and landlords means that the use of bark control systems is necessary.
It is usually these same critics who will not hesitate to lodge a complaint against you in the courts because of "constant barking". Barking dogs in apartments can be seen as the worse of two evils. Numerous civil proceedings make their way through the courts every year. Sound disturbances from your friendly neighbour, Mr Doglover. The list of complaints is long: Disruption of the peace from dog noise; sound disturbance from keeping animals; barking dogs lowering rental income.
A small ironic tip: "Speak with your dog and explain to him that his current behaviour may mean giving up the apartment. And that he also has no time to first get used to different behaviour. He'll have to go to the dogs' home if things don't get immediately better." Your dog will give you the following answer: "Woof, woof, woof ... "
You're not supposed to bark! Hmm. See the problem?
In summary: There are fewer problems between dogs and people than between people themselves. At the end of the day, it's not your dog that will be sued, but you!
Prevent the worst and avoid having to give up your apartment because of "constant barking". The PetSafe bark control device provides you with a gentle and effective ultrasound device as a means to an end. And finally, the PetSafe bark control device also provides the function of a bark control collar, but without the collar.
The criticism given above is also somewhat uncertain. Bark control collars, remote trainers, electric shock sensors and electric shock collars are often considered as one and the same. This is, however, not the case. They each have their own particular function which responsibly fulfil their purpose. For example, training collars or electronic remote trainers are an important tool when training hunting dogs. They serve to protect both dogs and humans in dangerous situations and on driven hunts. A bark control collar on the other hand, may be a simple spray collar using water. This gently corrects the dog's behaviour and acts as an additional tool for owners when training their dog.
