Heating cable for gutters
to 1.: The sensor should be placed directly onto your gutter.
to 2.: Note that there is a bending radius of 5 cm. Do not make any unnecessary kinks in the cable
to 3: The heating cable should ideally protrude into the soil by about 1 metre.
Heating cable for plants
to 1.: Lay the heating cable in a spiral shape around the inside of the pot.
to 2.: Lay it in a spiral shape to about 10 cm above the top of the youngest shoot.
For pot plants:
Place the pot on an insulating rigid foam plate.
Bind the leaves together pointing upwards and, if necessary, wrap in fleece.
The area with the youngest shoot cannot be allowed to freeze, nor the roots.
Use 2 cables; only plug them in when conditions are frosty.
Ideally, the pot should be protected on the outside using fleece or jute.
The letter box shown in the picture is just for decoration. ;-)
